Thread and color, a language woven from the cyclical body.

About the Artist

Catalina Pastrana Acosta is a Colombian artist living and working between New York and MedellĂn. At the intersection of painting and fiber art, she creates textile-based works that explore how the body's cyclical transformations influence perception, emotion, and the texture of everyday experience.

Through a self-developed language of color, thread, stitches, and layered surfaces, her practice maps the rhythms of life-creating bodies, transforming scientific research and personal observation into intimate visual structures.
